ArtAmber is a manufacturer. Hangzhou ArtAmber Culture Creative Co., Ltd. was established in 2010 and operates a group of five-plus owned factories covering EVA foam pressing, plastic injection moulding, acrylic craft, textile cut-and-sew and offset printing. You are welcome to visit any of them.

It depends on whether the line is stock or custom. Existing lines in our catalogue carry low minimums because the tooling and artwork already exist. Custom programmes that need new moulds, new die-cuts or newly recorded audio carry higher minimums — custom card content and custom audio for the talking card reader, for example, starts at 3,000 sets. Tell us the product and the quantity you have in mind and we will confirm exactly.

Yes. Samples of existing catalogue lines are normally dispatched within a week. For custom development we produce a prototype first, then a pre-production golden sample made on the real line with real materials and real packaging — that is the sample your QC signs against. Sample costs are usually credited back against the first production order.

Production lead time depends on quantity, material and whether tooling is involved. Repeat orders on existing lines are the fastest. A new custom programme runs longer because it includes design, tooling, prototype approval, golden sample and testing before mass production starts. We give a dated schedule with every quotation rather than a generic range.

Yes. ArtAmber issues Children's Product Certificates in your importer's name for US-bound shipments, citing ASTM F963-17, CPSIA Title I Section 101 for total lead, Section 108 for phthalates and CPSC 16 CFR 1500.44 for flammability of solids. We have been issuing them to US importers since 2010.

We issue CEC certificates for EU-bound shipments and arrange EN71-1 (mechanical and physical), EN71-2 (flammability) and EN71-3 (migration of certain elements) testing per product against the approved golden sample. Tell us the destination market at quotation stage so the right route is priced in from the start.

Yes. ArtAmber holds an amfori BSCI ethical audit report on the production site and keeps it under continuous renewal. The report is available to buyers who require social compliance evidence during vendor onboarding.

Yes — private label is standard. Your brand goes on the product, the insert and the retail carton, with no ArtAmber marking anywhere on retail packaging. Barcodes, marketplace labelling and multi-language packaging backs are printed in the group's own printing plant.

The talking flash card reader is stocked in German, French, Italian and Spanish alongside English, with no separate minimum for those stock versions. Other languages are recorded to order — either from audio files you supply or produced by us — and carry a minimum of 3,000 sets because both the cards and the audio module change.

Tooling developed and paid for against your product stays associated with your product. We do not offer your custom tooling, artwork or card content to other customers.

We can quote against a sample or a listing and tell you honestly what is achievable at what price. What we will not do is copy a design that is under someone else's design registration, patent or character licence — that exposes you at customs and on marketplaces far more than it exposes us. Where a reference product is protected, we will propose a distinct design that reaches the same learning outcome.

We have produced for licensed properties including Marvel, Pinkfong Baby Shark, PAW Patrol and Benesse, so the group is familiar with licensor approval gates, restricted material lists and audit requirements. We produce licensed work only for customers who hold the licence themselves and can evidence it.

Terms are agreed per order and depend on order value, tooling involvement and whether it is a first or repeat order. Deposit plus balance against shipping documents is the usual structure. Terms are stated on the proforma invoice before you commit.

Sea freight FCL and LCL, air freight, and express for samples. Because the five factories sit inside one group, a mixed order — foam, plastic, textile and printed goods — consolidates into one shipment under one set of documents rather than four separate suppliers' shipments.

Yes, and we would prefer you did. We are about 30 minutes from Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport and on the high-speed rail line from Shanghai. Send your dates and the categories you want to see and we will stage the relevant samples in the showroom, which holds more than 1,000 pieces, before you arrive.

Report it with photographs and the carton marks. We trace it back through the final inspection record, the in-line checks and the incoming material record for that batch, then agree a remedy — replacement, credit or rework — before the next shipment. Because we manufacture rather than broker, there is no third party to route the claim through.
