OEM & ODM development
Roughly half our volume is customised. Bring a brief, a competitor sample or a finished design file — the group handles it end to end.
ArtAmber offers both OEM and ODM development for educational toys and teaching aids. OEM means we manufacture to your existing design and specification; ODM means we develop a new product from your brief using our own engineering. The service covers mould and die-cut tooling, material selection, artwork and illustration, colour-coding systems, multi-language audio recording, private-label branding and retail packaging — all produced inside the group's own factories rather than subcontracted out.
OEM — you own the design
You supply drawings, a specification or a physical sample. We tool, produce and pack to it. Your artwork, your brand, your carton. Tooling developed for your product stays yours.
ODM — we develop it with you
You describe the learning outcome, the retail price band and the market. Our development team proposes structure, materials and content, then produces prototypes for approval before tooling is committed.
How a custom programme runs
1 · Brief & feasibility
Send a sketch, a reference product or a spec. We come back with material options, a realistic price band and any compliance constraints for your destination market — before anyone spends money.
2 · Design & artwork
Structural design, die-lines, card content, illustration and colour systems. For phonics products we align the colour-coding to the scheme your market teaches.
3 · Tooling & prototype
Moulds, cutting dies and laser paths cut in-house. You approve a physical prototype before mass tooling is finalised.
4 · Pre-production sample
A golden sample produced on the real line with real materials and real packaging. This is the sample your QC signs against.
5 · Testing & certification
EN71 / ASTM F963 testing booked against the approved sample. CPC and CEC certificates issued in your importer's name.
6 · Production & shipment
Mass production on the group's own lines, in-line and final inspection, then loading with your carton marks and shipping documents.
What we can change
Structure & tooling
New shapes, new component counts, new mould geometry. EVA die-cutting, injection tools, acrylic laser paths and sewn patterns are all developed in-house.
Artwork & content
Card decks, illustration style, phonics colour-coding, vocabulary lists, and instruction inserts written for your curriculum.
Audio & language
Talking card readers are stocked in German, French, Italian and Spanish alongside English. Other languages are recorded to order — either from audio you supply or generated and produced by us.
Materials & safety spec
EVA density, board thickness, textile weight, water-based paints, BPA-free plastics — chosen against the standard your market enforces.
Packaging & retail
Colour box, window box, PP zip pouch, shrink or blister. Barcodes, marketplace labelling and multi-language backs printed in the group's own plant.
Private label
Your brand on the product, the insert and the carton, with no ArtAmber marking anywhere on retail packaging.
Licensed programmes
Licensed character work carries approval gates, restricted material lists and audit requirements that ordinary orders do not. ArtAmber has run production for licensed properties including Marvel, Pinkfong Baby Shark, PAW Patrol and Benesse. If you hold a licence and need a factory that can survive the licensor's approval process, that experience is on file.
Brand names are stated as production references only. All trademarks belong to their respective owners; ArtAmber claims no rights in them.
