Frequently asked about this product

Why four separate sets instead of one?

Because infant vision changes fast and a single card set is wrong for most of the first three years. Set 1 is high-contrast black and white for the earliest weeks when acuity is very low. Set 2 adds red, yellow and blue as colour vision comes in. Set 3 introduces abstract shapes in colour. Set 4 moves to concrete objects. 80 double-sided cards across the four sets.

How are the cards used day to day?

Propped in the cot or on the floor during tummy time, at roughly the distance the baby can actually focus at that age. Parents rotate a few cards at a time rather than showing all eighty — novelty is what holds attention, and a card that is always there stops being looked at.

What safety testing applies to printed card and board products?

Printed stock is tested to EN71-3 for migration from inks and coatings, EN71-1 for mechanical and physical properties, and 16 CFR 1500.44 for flammability of solids on US-bound orders. Inks are non-toxic and the lamination is checked for delamination resistance, since a card that splits creates a small-part hazard that the original design did not have.

What is the minimum order quantity, and can I get a sample first?

This is a print-based line produced in the group's own printing plant, so the minimum is low and your own card content, illustration or language can be substituted without any tooling cost. Samples ship within about a week. If you want a different card count or box format, that changes the packing spec rather than the minimum.
