What is in the set and what does the lacing actually teach?
All 26 letters plus numerals, each with pre-punched channels, and colourful cords. Threading the cord along the letter's path forces a child to follow the letter's shape with their hand rather than just look at it, which is why lacing sets are used for letter formation before pencil work starts. It also builds the pincer grip, focus and patience that handwriting later depends on.
Are the cord ends safe for young children?
Cord length is specified against the strangulation-hazard limits for the stated age range rather than chosen for convenience, and the aglets are checked for pull-off force during in-line inspection. If you are targeting a younger age band than 3+, tell us at quotation stage so the cord specification is set accordingly.
What safety testing applies to EVA foam products?
EVA parts are tested to EN71-3 for migration of certain elements and EN71-1 for mechanical and physical properties, plus EN71-2 flammability where the piece is large enough to matter. For US-bound orders we cite ASTM F963-17 together with CPSIA Section 101 total lead and Section 108 phthalates. Where the set contains magnets, magnet flux index is measured rather than assumed, and small-part pull force is checked in line during production.
What is the minimum order quantity, and can I get a sample first?
The cutting die and artwork for this EVA line already exist, so the minimum is low and lead time is short. Samples ship within about a week and the cost is normally credited against the first production order. Changing colours, piece count or the printed artwork is a die-free change — only a genuinely new shape needs a new die, which we quote separately.
